Is the shade of the green permanent or does it change with the shrimp's mood/diet/tank conditions? For instance, would one of the grass green ones like in the pic below stay grass green most of the time or would it change to lime green and back depending on how it felt?

I am sure that tank conditions effect their coloration, but they are pretty stable overall.

Gotta get my 20L started asap so I can get some Christmas shrimp heaven going. Don't want a ton of plants so I can see the shrimp crawling over the hardscape.

thanks for sending the alder cones so fast. just wondering... are you going to get Caridina Babaulti var. green any time soon? I'm tempted at your "black" var but want to hold out until you get more greens.

rachel i have what i think is a yellow one of these guys can you tell from this photo. she is a bit lonely and won't mate with any of the reds cherry(which is fine) but if she is one of these yellows i might just get a boyfriend for her.
