Finnex FugeRay Size for 10G
I've seen the Finnex Fugerays on Amazon and I was thinking is there anyway to put a smaller sized FugeRay on a 10G without hanging it or getting the 20 inch for a 20inch 10G?

The 20" is the only one that fits with the legs provided, you could get a shorter one and DIY some different legs. You could also put the light on the tank the short way, what is that 12"? Might have dark sides though, or need two lights.

Just bought the 10" version for my 10gal and it fits under the old florescent cover perfectly. Illuminates the tank nicely and no more loud ballasts and changing bulbs.

Could I do buy a 10" and put it in a 10G without getting an old florescent light cover? How do you make the DIYs? Or should I just get the 20" or just get a cube tank? :O

I bought the 18inch finnex ray 2 ultra slim led ds dual 7000k for my 10g and it works perfectly well kinda. It fits nicely though after some minor adjusting.

For a short amount of time I had a 12" just set on top of a glass canopy.. which worked fine, but you'd want more light for a high light tank.
