Anybody keep/breed Honduran Red Points?
Just curious if anybody here keeps or breeds Honduran Red Points. I have 3 of them in a 40 breeder. Two of them paired off, and have had babies twice, but the fry haven't survived. I don't know if they just aren't getting enough to eat (I don't feed fry food, just regular flakes with the occasional frozen bloodworms), or if the other fish in the tank slowly pick them off.
Here are a few pics of mine. |

Only twice? Just a normal not enough experience thing. I wouldn't worry about it. They can breed in puddles, literally. Nice looking fish you have there. After a few weeks from their last attempt, and you really want them to breed, feed them frozen foods daily. It always seems to work on getting them to asap.

Well, my pair bred again. I have a whole crater full of wigglers in the front corner of my tank. I will see if any manage to survive this time. I hope they do, they really are beautiful fish.

Good for them. THey're the best of parents. Just keep the water clean and they'll be fine.
