cloudy tank

Each time I preform a watter change my tank gets cloudy for a coouple days why is that happening and how can I prevent it from happening

Do you change the filter also when you doing a water change?

My tank has live plants so I use 3 sponge filters I rince them before I do the water change.o use dry chemicals and co2. Maby I should just try mew filters as cheep as they are I'll just have to buy some I thought it might be from a chemical al in balance? Not shure I'm new at all this planted fish tank.

Would it be from stirring up the substrate or when you do a water change do you put in a water conditioner? Maybe that clouds the water. I'm just guessing but you never know.

I just use the water from the tap I have well water I've tested it and it is predict and I'm not suturing up the substrate, not using any conditioner,not shure what's going on??

Figured out the cloudy tank was from feeding the fish twice a day only need to feed once a day of made the nitrate levils too high and not having a good backteria levle in the tank

All mine get cloudy (very lite white) after water changes, but i know it's from adding Seachem's Prime to my tap water!!

I found there isn't enough microorganisms in the tank I have changed it less and backed off my dry chemicals its been a lot better
