DFW and Surrounding Area Betta Club

I never posted it here, but I have created an IBC Chapter/Betta Club.

We meet in Arlington at Joe's Pizza, Pasta and Subs (4300 Matlock). It is across from Fry's Electronics.

We also have a Facebook page. We meet monthly and usually the last Sat of the month. Our website is not kept currant, but the FB is. ((can I post)) please look us up and join our FB page.

Lori

ps...we sometimes bring live plants, fish, cultures, but you have to be a paid member of the club to get them...free.

And once I get my breeding back up and running, LSB has had a couple 10g tanks that were donated to us. I'm thinking about offering a 10g, starter plants (or a couple breeding mops), starter cultures of all the live food I have (should be micro worms, banana worms, walter worms, vinegar eels, grindals, and White Worms (must be kept in a wine frig set on white wine or they won't reproduce), and a pair of fish (color/tail type is what ever is available at the time) for a $40 donation to LSB, for all new paid members. Starter package. I had mycobacteria (fish tb basically...cept TB is reserved for human TB) in my fish room, so I don't have any babies growing out right now.

Throwing out that idea only for the time being...what do ya think?

That sounds like an awesome and very generous idea. Personally, I'm really only interested in wild Betta types. I've never kept them, but they are more to my liking. I'll "like" the page asap. Thanks!
