My nano shrimp tank build

Java moss grew to the point of not being able to see past in after a couple of weeks. After trimming weekly for a while I decided to rescape. Have a few new tylos in the tank too.

I feel like the tank needs some more plants after the rescape. Mainly for the back wall and maybe replace the crypts in the front corners with something else. Any body some ideas? This is a 5 gallon tank with a 26w finnex epoch light. No co2 but I am dosing flourish weekly and planning to start excel as well. Temp stays in upper 70s-low 80s during winter and low- mid 80s in the summer.

i would just watch what you dose fert wise for copper. there are all kinds of crypts that are easy to grow not sure really on plants cause most of what i keep likes cooler water both plant and fish/shrimp wise

Changing it up a bit had some trouble with the cardinals. Switching to Sakuras, ordered a 2211 with DoAqua! Lily pipes, co2 kit, ordered a 12x12 hairgrass mat, going back to the Amazonia.

Any recommendations on a diffuser? I have the one that comes with the Hagen 20gram kit but it takes up too much real estate in the tank(about the size of a soda can).

That kit does not have a real regulator. that "diffusor" has no ceramic, and that is tha only one that works. I almost bought it, too.

With the bubble counter from the 88g kit you can adjust the regulator that comes with it fairly easily. I don't see why a normal diffuser wouldn't work as I can limit the amount of co2 put out. Just wanted to see if anyone else had done it before. I'm also considering the adapter to use full size paint ball co2 tanks with this system.

I need some help picking and finding plants for the tank. My DHG (from petsmart) is growing steadily and seems to have settled in. I'm hoping to replace the co2 kit I have by the end of summer with a paintball setup and an actual regulator.

These 3 white dots there are eggs of your nerite snail, it won't hatch in freshwater. Will only become eye-sores.
