Desktop Nano

Within the next two weeks, I will be moving my guppies to a 20H, which will free up a wonderful little spot on my work table.

I want to do a simple, natural tank. I'm torn on which tank I want to use. Here are my options:

My desk is right in front of an East facing window, so I will not be adding supplemental lighting, and I probably won't run a filter in it. As far as inhabitants go, I may add a couple shrimp at some point once my breeding tank gets up and going. Otherwise, maybe a couple MTS, if that.

I'd love to hear some suggestions!! or even better, see some pictures :-)

I've had almost all of those tanks, they are so flimsy and scratch/crack insanely easily, they are not very clear to see into and end up looking terrible.

The 2 gallon drum bowl however is actually very well made, looks bigger than it actually is and looks super cute. I would for sure go with that one, i only just bought that bowl yesterday as a planted nano shrimp tank along the same lines as yours.

I've been thinking more and more about it and I've definitely been leaning towards the bowl. Yes, it is much higher quality, and it will probably fit in the space I have a little better than any of the others would.

Wow... I can't believe she has that many fish (and that selection) .... that's ridiculous, and destined for failure.

I've made my decisions!!

I will be doing both the 2 gallon bowl and the 1.5 gal cube. The bowl will be in the window, and the cube will sit on my desk. I'll start journals for each at some point :-)
