Segregated nano moss tank

Yeah. I'll get the background on there soon. They're a nice size.

The light I bought likely will be to big. But it's OK.

It was either that or a 10" finnex.

Light came in. It's ok. I had to Jerry-rig it to the filter.

I'd like an idea of how to DIY brackets to rest it on the tank itself.

I was wondering where people think I should put moss in this tank.

I may not put moss in. We will see

The rulers are in their respective sides of the tank.

They both are looking good. The female finally is back to her old color and shell thickness after her injury, and it is the first time I've ever actually nursed something back to health. So yay me I guess.

I've got great news. They crayfish can't squeeze from side to side. The male already tried hard and gave up.

The crayfish found a way to kill the female, I gave him to someone who may have use of him.

I'll be tearing the tank down.

yep. my crays found a way past the deep blue partitions to kill then return... pretty frustrating to say the least. sorry

I lost 2 CPO this way...

Albert -- at least I know it wasn't just me.

I've been frustrated by this tank for a while. At least I get to tear it down. I like the floaters though. I'd like to rescue them if possible lol.

you could just keep the tank for some shrimp or get some dwarf species. I have some floaters in my 20g and its a pain to keep under control as it grows so fast but it looks great

Thanks. Yeah I've got two impossible shrimplets in this tank... They were swimming around in another tank I tore down, so I figured I'd give them a fair shake. This is filterless with tons of rock in it. We'll see what happens. I don't expect them to live, but I don't have any space for them, either.

I take it the female recovered full from the last mauling? Just curious how long it takes for them to recover is all.

No. He figured a way to finish her off. Quite sad actually.

It takes several molts to regenerate limbs.
