Greedy shrimp.
So yesterday we had our club spring auction. We had our fall auction back in November. A fellow member gave me a bunch of crystals he had. He said they just weren't working out for him. Their color is not the greatest but I don't know what he fed them. I dropped a hunk of mosura spinach in there and a while later I caught one of the new kids dragging it half way across the tank. I guess he was starving. I know it is on of the new kids because he is huge. He is hiding behind the piece of driftwood with in to the left of the picture.

Obsessed? Maybe

They'll likely color up some once they're adjusted to your tank.
One of the funniest things about keeping shrimp (any of them but especially Amanos) is watching the grab-n-go with a piece of food. Usually, it's a chunk of food about 10,000 times the size of the shrimp and they're dragging it off to the middle of nowhere. Super-fun to watch.

I have Cherry shrimp that will just about pull food out of my cory's mouths! The shrimp are afraid of very few things. They are very curious too. Sometimes I want to move some shrimp from one aquarium to another. I just have to put the net in the water, the shrimp will just swim into it.

They had to lift it up about 1/2 inch first that's the real funny part.
