How high is my lighting?

I have a 29g (18" tall) and 30" T5HO light with two 14w bulbs. One is 6,700k (actinic) the other is 10,000k. How high is the lighting? Are there any plants you think do well with it(assuming C02, ferts, decent substrate etc, which I plan to have all of before I redo the tank)?

Your 6700K bulb is not actinic.

You have high lighting, so you will have a wide variety of plants to choose from (as long as you have good CO2 and fertilization, as you are already aware).

Is that a Coralife light fixture? It can't be a T5HO light, but is probably a T5NO. A 30 inch long light would use at least 24 watt bulbs if it were a T5HO light.

I pulled out the box and it says it's a SolarMaxHE. I hadn't looked in a while and thought it said HO- is there a difference in HO and HE?

Darkblade- it says actinic on the bulb.

HO is high output. HE is high efficiency, or NO. 24 inch HO bulbs are 24 watt. 24 inch NO bulbs are 14 watt.

How confusing - 6700K is the colour temperature, but I would not say this is actinic at all.

When you observe the bulb (carefully; please don't blind yourself), is it very white, with a tint of blue, or a deep blue colour?
