SunSun JL-1000 - 39w Coral Wave - Need details

Local fish store sold me a SunSun light set JL-1000 http://www.sunsun-china.com/en/product/html/?1342.html for my 40 gallons planted tank.
It has 4 x 39w (total 156w) coral wave tube lights which are pure white in color. Can you please provide details on this tube light

1. What is Coral Wave? Is it T5 HO?

2. Is it suitable for Planted Tank?

Thanks.

It says on the page clearly 10,000k for their fw fixture.

I've always had pretty decent luck with the Chinese brands of equipment, and if the price is right you can always change bulbs.

On the plus side, that looks like a real CE mark too (either that or the Chinese are getting better at counterfeiting them LOL).

It should be OK, but if you were to spend more money you'll get better ballasts and reflectors.

Thanks Jeff and Brian.

Brian, this fixture has individual reflectors for each light. For a 40g tank, I thought 156w is more than enough. Sorry, I'm a newbie. What difference would adding a ballast do?

Can you order from that site? I don't see any prices.

I bought this from a local distributor in India. Costs around ~$100. Not sure whether you get this in US.
