I just don't get where everyone is saying it's so different and such a pain. With mine, the look has changed, the albums flopped from the right side of the screen to the left, but essentially everything else is the same. Each thumbnail pic has the img code to copy and paste into threads just like it did before. I don't have to click at all to get the code. It's right there in my face. One click and I'm in the album of my choice and it's the same story. Thumbnails all with img codes below the pic.

I don't think you have the new version... does yours have a library? Do all your picture uploads default into your main album no matter which album you TRY to upload them into?

Yes, there is a library and no, my pictures go where I tell them to go. You can't go to an album and upload pictures directly to that album by default. No matter what album you are in, you have to choose from the drop down what album the pics download to or they will download to the general library.

There is an option to go back to the old format on photobucket. It still looks and works the same for me as it has for last 3years

Yeah, I do that, and doesn't matter- mine still go to the general library.

Where they disappear for perpetuity in the few thousand pics there.

I don't know then. Mine works perfectly. Pics go were I tell them to and if I just send them to the library, the pics just show up in the order they were added, newest at the top. I've not done anything to mine as far as settings. One day it was the old version, next day I logged in it was the new version. Been just fine thus no reason for me to switch.

I don't upload that often, but I did last night. Too many clicks for my taste, and I live out in the sticks so more clicks=bad. I will be trying another site as well.

You guys need to go into the settings and switch "easy linking mode" on. That way all the pics have the image links right there and you don't have to click into them.
