I used to live there for about 6 years (EWU grad). I live in Tacoma now, but I can tell you where to go to get most of the stuff you will need for tanks and such

hello...i am new to this board, but not new to planted tanks, i like to go to Aquarium solutions, 9516 e. Montgomery suite 18...in the valley. i hope that helps you its a very cool place

I get my aquarium supplies from Northwest Seed and Pet on East Sprague in Spokane. They seem to have the most comprehensive selection in their fish room. The staff seems pretty knowledgeable, too.

If you're ever in Idaho, go to Bob's Pet and Pond in Lewiston. They are also very good.

I live 3 hours away and I always go to aquarium solutions while im there (its in spokane valley) Barbie the owner is great and she is a mod on planetcatfish. I get to hear her speak at the GSAS meeting where she is giving a lecture on catfish.

Pullman chiming in! We have Barnacle Bills in Pullman and Pets are people too and Palouse Pets in Moscow.

theres also guppy tales in the garland district
and evergreen pet on spague

but aqarirum soloutions has by far the most uniqe selection

I go to see Barbie regularly (Aquarium Solutions)

Guppy Tales moved from Division to Garland

Northwest seed and pet hes a good selection on sprague, but division sucks!

ps... 1st post here... starting my first planted tank after the holiday... 46 bowfront.

I am new here, I am just north of Spokane in Deer Park. I worked at Northwest Seed on Sprague for about 2 years and quit back in June. Terry and Mike in aquatics are great. I agree, the north store has nothing for fish. I venture out to Barbie's shop from time to time just to drool over everything

Every likes Terry and Mike, they are good at what they do. I have dealt with Gene mostly though, he seems to know his stuff too! Actually I am bringing a Discus and 3 YT Aceis to him tomorrow so I can pick up my German Blue Rams.
