I understand why some sellers doctor their photos. It starts as wanting to give an accurate picture to what they sell...but then the desire to make their stock look better than what really is becomes too strong to resist.

I'm not sure if it is true in this case. I've found that blue shrimps do show better in pictures, especially when the lighting is in 6000-7000k. These blue shrimps are pretty blue in person too, at least mine are. They are not to the German strain of OEBT kind of blue, a shade lighter and not as intense, but blow any blue velvets away for sure.
