Snail eggs. Shrimp don't lay eggs like that. They carry them (hence being called "berried").

I hope they are not generic snail eggs.

Do you have snails in the tank? Could be some fungus or bacteria.

I do have snails, the population of them has exploded in resent days.
I did buy some assasin snails to try to curb the population, about 6 for a 55 gal. My gf sent me the pic while I was at work, I didn't see it this morning when I fed the fish, or last night. But I will take a closer look when I get home, and post a better pic. I have noticed some spots where a white alge or fungus does apprear to be growing, but not thick like this, and it normaly is gone the next day thanks to the pleco or one of the corys. I have seen very little extra food after the addition of corys and shrimp to the tank. |

That my dear friend is not eggs. That's something molding/growing in your tank.

If it's not on the shrimp belly or the shrimp molted shell then it's not shrimp egg. Pond snail egg will look like a clear egg with tiny black dot and it usually hang onto a plant.
The picture provided I can't even tell if it's an egg or dead plant or food waste or whatever, need a clearer picture. |
