Ideal canister/ Media setup

I am currently running an FX5 on my 100 gallon, no spray bar just what came with it, a two way directional nozzle. I was given a 405 for trade for some fish, and I was thinking about running it along with the FX5, but had tossed around the idea of how I would place media in each one. This is what I was thinking.
FX5-Prefilter floss-----Clearmax(high phosphate tap water)---Biomedia
405-Polishing Floss-biomedia-bio media
I was also thinking to stagger intakes for more mid level filtration, and maybe add a spray bar to the 405.
Any suggestions would be great, I think im over thinking this whole thing....

Thanks, I went with your setup media wise, and in about 4 hours tanks is sparkling and the flow coming out of the FX5 is ten times better.
