intake extension on a hob?


has anyone extended the intake on a hob filter? i would like to move it to the other end of the tank to create a larger circulation. i was thinking of using tubeing & suction cups

I have with some of my real shallow tanks with a really fine sand. I stuck vinyl tubing up the intake and moved the tube coming out up, and over to higher directions off to the side, and place the intake strainer over the tubing. It works thats for sure
