Plant ID
Hey guys, can someone help ID what the plant is in this picture? I have had it forever in my 5 gallon aquarium.
It started as one plant that had 3-4 shoots almost as tall as the aquarium, the original was purchased almost 3 years ago as a random plant at Petco (one planted in an aquarium, not a prepackaged plant). It has now grown throughout my aquarium with many runners sprouting up, but has stayed closer to the bottom (maybe about 2 inches for the tallest). There is a larger java fern in the background that is blended in. Thanks in advance for the help!

Hmm, I am thinking that is what it could be now. I never thought much about it being dwarf sag, since the original plant was so tall.
From what I'm reading it sounds similar, it was sort of stagnant for a long time even with c02 and some ferts, and then it just took off with lots of runners popping up. |

Looks like dwarf sag or jungle Val runners that haven't sprouted very tall (this is less likely).

Dwarf sag, valls have long thin leaves. Sag has umbrella shaped thick short leaves.
