those are HM stems in the far right. Stargrass would easily overtake that tank.

I have a school of 9 in my 55 planted jungle. They are gorgeous little fish and very vivid Orange/Black coloration. As for size, they can get up to about 1.5" in length. They are a great schooling fish and like to have space to swim. A 4 gallon will not make for happy R.Espei's. I would do as others have suggested and try a different species.
