First aquascape
I have been playing around with my first aquascape for sometime now and would like some feedback. This is my latest one and I'm quite happy with it. Please let me know what you all think.
Thanks, Josh |

looks good, im guessing your in the DC area? I'm NOVA as well then too
I am a novice but im guessing the seniors on the board might have a suggestion for the wood in the far left corner as being out of place or not needed. Also might be the wood/stone on the right side could be moved up a bit but thats my 2 cents. Looks great otherwise! |

I think we need a straighter pic to judge properly

Many plants...little time

I think it looks good. However I'd put a few smaller rocks in front of the base of the driftwood.

I like it a lot. If only add some smaller rocks pending on what your plant choices are.
What plants you thinkig about? And Planing on letting anything grow out of the water?

I have been thinking that I might need to order some more Akadama stone. As far as plants go, I have been thinking about using mostly moderate to low light plants like jungle val, dwarf sag, swords, anubias, ludwigia repens, and some moss on the driftwood. Really want to get some plants that eat up a lot of nutrients to help the tank cycle and reduce algae bloom. If any of the plants grow out of the water and are happy then I will prob leave it.
Thanks again and will update this as I make changes |
