Transporting shrimp

What is the best way to transport shrimp in the car/hotel for 30 ish hours? Will they be play In a bag/container till of water for that amount of time?

Is there any tips to ensure they all survive?

Use a Kordon breather bag and fill the bag with water (no air). This way there's minimal sloshing while transporting to minimize stress on the shrimp. You should be fine.

You may also want to think about placing them in a cooler to help stabilize temps during travel.

A cooler is good, keep it in the hotel room with you. If you use breather bags, open the cooler now and again. If it's not breather bags, fill them with lots of air. My last shrimp meet, I packed up everyone the day before just in ziplock bags, into a cooler for the night to keep the temps stable, then to the shrimp meet and to everyone then they sat with them for the meet, then back to their homes and everyone did fine.

Default Transporting shrimp

Large ziplock lots of water and air and a small cooler. is it worth using a heat pack? If its a normal bag do you open it up once in a while or leave it sealed ?

should be Easy enough, thanks for the tips

I just did it a few days ago. Shrimps consist of various types of TBs and others.

- Packaged by sellers in larger bags of water and air, traveling by post for 12 hours in insulated box with outside temp between 65F - 78F.

- I repackaged them in 5 kordon bags, each contains 5 - 15 shrimps. No air, just about 100 cc of water in each bag, then in an insulated box in my luggage for 8 hrs.

- Then my luggage was in the cargo area of the flight for 15 hrs. Note, it was very cold in there.

- 3 hrs after the flight, I opened the insulated packages, all bags were icy cold, no casualty.

Shrimps are very tolerant to coldness, it's the heat they can't deal with as well in transportation. If you carry them in a cooler with you, I'm sure 30 hrs is nothing.
