Your favorite plant
Trying to get some ideas for my new tank, just name the plant and give a reason why.
So far my favorite plant is my crypt wendtii because of the way it looks when it grows in and propagates a lot.

Fissidens = Intricate yet small, they attach to almost anything, and the deep green color are a few of the reasons I like these. They tend to make the scape "mature" looking also.

Any type of Tonina because they are somewhat difficult to grow healthy. I am currently growing some Tonina Marble Queens.
Here are a few varieties in one pic:

I'm in love with my Aponogeton ulvaceus, just because it's huge, "fluffy" and my fish adore hiding in it.

Fissidens because of their dark green colour and also their shape.
UG because of the soft weeping grass look they have. Anubias barteri var. 'Petite' is also very nice, again because of the dark green colour and because their shape contrasts that of the above two plants. For something a little lighter green in colour, Hemianthus callitrichoides is always a nice go to.

Nymphaea species, amazing color, can grow big, and grows lily pads. To add to it, it flowers readily in an aquarium

Java ferns. They are good beginner plants that come in several varieties. They can be attached to rocks and driftwood.

I think Rotala Indica is probably my favorite. Has grown quite easily for me, has a great bushy like effect, and has pretty sweet colors. especially when it has that nice pink hue to it. second place would probably be Crypt Wendtii.

Must say I'm a fan of Swords, they are easy to grow for the most part and they get large and tall. My favorite would probably be the Indian Red Sword, the reds are stunning when it actually starts to grow!
