So I have this plant and I'm not entirely sure what to do with it. I've tied it to a piece of driftwood because I've read that they don't do well when the rhizome is in the substrate. I have sand substrate. Will it do OK on the driftwood or should it be partially in the sand?

It'll do great on the driftwood. The roots will start to spread and grow towards the ground
