Small, centerpiece fish in CO2, low pH tank

I'm looking to add some color to my tank (20 long). So far, all I have 5 otos and 3 honeycombs, which are beautiful, just not vibrant and bright. A GBR won't do since I'm also getting a zebra oto and 10 Corydoras habrosus in the mail. My first choices would be Gudgeons, but can they handle CO2, low pH (6.0 w/ CO2), and low KH (1-2)? My second choice would be Dario dario, but they're tiny and I'd worry I'd never see them. Unless you think there's a good apisto or if I can fit a school of nanos like CPDs.

CPD's, Dario Dario are good choices. I also like Pseudomugil gertrudae ARU II Rainbowfish .

I second Dario Dario, Scarlet Badis, the used to be super rare but now I see them popping up at local stores more and more.

I don't I have room. I also much prefer cardinals, which I'm sure I can't fit.

Anyone have experience with Dario dario and CO2? Peacock/Emperor Gudgeons?
