can some one ID these for me
i got these as greens. for my friend they are every color you can think of. i have a couple that are an aqua color in another tank (pics later) but i dont know the type of shrimp they are.

nope not cherries they dont cross i kept them with rili for months and nothing. they are in a ph of about 7-7.4 dependin on water chagnes lol temp is about 70-72 (house temp) i use sponge filter. i thought they were Green babault. and they tend to be darker on a black substrate and dark back ground but i do know they are not a neo

no they are not tigers i have the aqua colored ones in with my lone oebt and no breeding as well. i know they are a high life form breeder cause they have gone mad at breeding tones of babies. the fish is an angel baby about a month old now

These pants? are fancy.

They look like caridina serrata to me, basically the tangerine tiger aura blue etc.
Once crossed with each other they make all sorts of colors, green and Blue being common as well as red, yellow and orange. |

really thats cool i will get pics of the others. im still trying to find out what they friend got them as so anything is possible i guess. mine have never been orange though always clear with a couple dots and then the green/aqua ones. thanks for the help all

ok now the ones i posted in the OP have white stripes as well as a few dark ones on their back. these guys change all the time depending on substrate. what shrimp do that other than ninja shrimp

ok from what i found out they are c babaulti or how ever you spell it lol. from what i understand they like to "blend in" to their inviornment so that might explain why they are clear with spots in the main tank ( hex tank with natural gravel) but the down side is just cause that is what they were sold as dont mean that is what they truly are
bananariot they guy i got them from does not sell on ebay so prob not the same person. |
