Lighting a 125g

The six foot long kind.

I want enough PAR to get nice, compact growth and PAR that will really bring out the reds in plants like Red Rotala,p and the red variations of Limnophila.

I've had great experiences with AH Supply lights. I was thinking of getting 2 96w lights, but I know that PC lighting has really fallen out of favor here. Would two be enough or would I need four for complete front to back coverage? Yes, I will have pressurized CO2.

I am building a canopy, so I don't mind spa little DIY, but I don't see a huge cost benefit to a DIY LED setup this large. But maybe I'm looking in the wrong places.

Anyone? If I were going with a premade fixture, I would need two 36" units, as I have a center brace. I've ruled out the AH Supply lights, I think. Just too expensive for what little benefit there is.

I'm trying to decide between a few options. The first is cheap reflectors from Home Depot with some CFL bulbs. This is definitely the cheapest, but I'm not sure what wattage equivalent or how many I would need for 70 PAR at the substrate.

Second would be the LED floods on eBay, but again, I don't know which ones I'd need (wattage or number).

The most expensive option seems to be the DIY LED route and there I am completely lost.

I also think you would be fine using AHS lights...they work very well, regardless of what people think here.
