Once I get the tank setup I plan to use it as an wild class endler breeding tank.

Do you really think the split photoperiod makes a difference? what are your guys thoughts on that?

Hi Aulonocara,

I have done split photoperiods on all of my tanks for over 4 years now so they are on when I am around and I can enjoy them.....my fish breed, my plants grow. You can do a search and find several threads on split periods.

Split periods sound like a good idea I never thought of it. I run my lights 10 hours straight.
