Shy Harlequin?
I've just finished stocking my 10gal (fully cycled) low tech planted tank.
3x Salt and Pepper Coreys 6x Harlequin Rasboras 12x CRS 1x freeloading baby snail Everyone seems to be getting along well, however over the last week one of the Harlequins has started hiding in the back away from the others. Some times she will swim about with everyone, but just as often she will lurk behind plants or behind the filter intake. Water perimeters are fine, do you think she's just a loaner? I haven't seen anyone being mean to her, should I worry? |

Green is good

I have a female that has been doing the same thing since I got her seven months ago. She otherwise seems fine and eats normally, so I guess don't worry too much as long as she's eating.

Sounds like you did not qt the fish?
If the fish in question is eating normally, I wouldnt worry. If not, I could be many things. How is the fish breathing compared to the others? Is it rubbing against plants, rocks or any other structure? Spots or blemishes? |
