hardscape

What is your favorite hardscape and why? I like plain ol' driftwood (because I'm a beginner) but I find that there is a lot of debris relased from what I think is the driftwood. It isn't long until I see the debris on top of my plants.

Driftwood is great because you can get big pieces that aren't going to weigh a ton and it's relatively cheap. For our 55g, we use driftwood, but our 14 gallon has some great rocks (I wish I knew the type...). If I could find some big ole stones that were appropriately sized for the 55 gallon, then I'd rescape everything in a heartbeat .
