I picked up some fruit trees the other day. The seller couldn't remember what this one was. I bought it anyway (cuz that's what risk-takers like me do. I'm totally insane). He said it grows bushy, and has small, edible, yellow fruit.

Ideas?

It's loquat.

They fruit very heavily every year....I'm not a fan of the fruit myself but my family loves it.

I believe you are correct, sir. Thanks a lot.

I've tasted loquats before. I don't remember being overly impressed with them, but I think I liked them well enough. I'm glad I bought it. 5 bucks well spent
