Anybody mix Crystal Whites with CRS/CBS/GOLDENS?
I have 3 Crystal Whites that are running around my tank and all 3 are males. Anybody know what happens if you mix with CRS CBS or even GOLDENS? At the moment I have about 10 berried crs/cbs shrimp running around so I'm pretty sure that at least one of them has mated with a CWS. The CWS are large too, probably my biggest shrimp so they would definitely out compete a little guy. I actually cannot find anything on the internet...it also seems that these are very rare shrimp.
Here is Speedie's pic of the Crystal Whites....they are not to be confused with Goldens or Snow Whites. Let me know what you think.

Hedge,
I've crossed a few of my CWB females with a tank full of TB and mischlings. The babies came out looking like regular mischlings. When first born the babies look like Blue Jellies but once they get past the 3-4 week mark, they look like regular CRS/CBS. That was the first batch.... I have a second batch (female CWB x male BKK) and some of these babies are looking alot like CWBs. Totally different from the first batch. I think my mischling males may have gotten to the CWB in my first batch. I'll try to snap some pics of the new babies. |

Hedge,
Here's the pictures I promised you. These babies are from the solo CWB mother that I've been keeping in my TB/mischling tank. I've taken out all the male mischlings so the studs are definitely TBs. ![]()
