Help identify this plant

I have searched plantsgeek, and can't figure out what it is.

I bought it from Petco, it's in the aquarium tank.

This is actually a dracinia. Not an aquatic plant, BUT you can grow it with it's roots in a hob fitter, or a riparium planter. With the leaves/stem/trunk sitting out of the water, else it will slowly rot

thanks, I am planting it in the pot now. I believe it's called rainbow dracaena.
No idea how it got into Petco's aquarium tank.

Unfortunately, you can sometimes still find non-aquatic plants being sold as aquatic plants. The onus is usually on the buyer to do prior research to ensure they do not accidentally purchase a terrestrial plant.

But on the bright side, you now have a new house plant

Agreed with Darkblade....The store receives its shipments in large plant packs and "whoever" unpacks them to the untrained eye all plants in tiny black pots must be aquarium plants...there for into what ever tank they get thrown.....Safest best is to ask Darkblade before purchasing or check out the plant profiles section before purchase....because I spent 6 bucks on terrarium plants before, not knowing the difference, only to slowly watch them become slimey mushy shrimp food

The shrimp must have loved it.
