Help?
Anyone part of this forum?
http://naturalaquariums.com I'm trying to contact a person who restored a 75g metaframe tank. When I try to register an account, the code image nor the audio will work, so I cannot ask him/her anything myself. Here's the thread. http://naturalaquariums.com/bb/index.php?topic=2183.0 I'd like to know how the tank is holding up. How he/she attached the slate to the glass or if he used another layer of glass for the bottom instead over the slate. How the tar was removed from the metal and how to get it off the glass. And lastly, what is the center brace originally made of. Mine is missing, there are two tabs with a hole in them, I have no idea what should be there, how to attach and what to use. Thanks to anyone who can help!

WOAH!! I had no idea they made them in this size. I wouldn't attempt to restore one based on what I've seen.
Here's the fella's youtube account. Check the video. That should answer your most important question. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aINdPaAjwU0 |

What is the value on a metaframe tank anyway?
I'm sure they're only $1/gallon, but the larger ones above a 20G would be $2/gallon? |

I have seen 10 gallons sell for $50 to 100.
