Looking for dolomite, potash, and clay in Texas
I posted this in the Texas forum but it doesn't get much traffic.
I'll be traveling to north Austin TX (round rock) fairly frequently. I live in college station and we cannot get any of the mineralized topsoil supplies locally. I need dolomite, potash, and potters clay. Anybody know of a location in north Austin that carries those items? OR better yet anyone have enough to spare to cover a 75 gallon tank for a few years?? Let me know! Thanks! Ps. I've had offers to have some shipped, but I would prefer to not have packages coming to my house via priority mail. Looking to pick up locally! |

Try feed stores for the potash and hobby lobby for the clay

Most dolomite is sold as dolomite-lime. Apparently, you want pure crushed dolomite ore.
For example, you don't want this http://www.amazon.com/Grow-More-1412.../dp/B000KH2LDM You do want this https://www.google.com/shopping/prod...11899695659443

This product is available at just about every garden center in Texas, about $6-$7.
