Floramax and Sand
For my 10g Dwarf Hairgrass tank that I am going to set up, I'm planning on using CaribSea FloraMax for the main substrate. Would the plants be okay with just this substrate alone, or would putting a bit of sand in the mix help? By help I mean, if I add the sand to the top of the FloraMax, will it help the DHG stay in place? Or will it have no affect at all...

I've read it's good to use pure quartz sand 2-4mm.

I have some Caribbean Sea stuff in my freshwater tank you'll defiantly want more than just sand cause my dwarf hair grass comes up all the time. Grows great still tho!
