Any clue what this is?

I picked up some plants at the LFS a while back and it had a little attached. I picked it all off and have not seen any in quite some time now. Tonight i noticed a little poking out from my DHG. I started picking it out and got quite a bit. I thought it might be staghorn but it doesn't look like the pictures i have found online. Any clues?

It's Utricularia gibba, a very annoying plant indeed. Even if you think you've gotten rid of all of it, you will find some a few weeks later.

I thought i had it under control but now it's growing at the base of my DHG. I mowed it down and picked out what i could but it seems like it's coming back even more prolific! Is there any other way to get rid of it? If it's not one thing it's another!

Wow thanks! I found some of that stuff stuck in my Riccia and was also wondering what it was. Didn't want to make a thread on it though. Luckily I got it all out along with the thousands of duckweed. Spent a few hours separating this and duckweed from my Riccia (I have some OCD when it comes to certain things lmao).

Just keep on manually removing it everytime you see it. Even if you see a little bit, remove it. If you are persistent, you will eventually prevail.

U. gibba and Duckweed are horrible to deal with.

Well there was only three long stands of UG. There was thousands of duckweed

Very annoying indeed. I think i put a dent in it tonight. Right before i did a water change i shut the filter off so any pieces that broke would float to the top. I ran my tweezers trough my DHG like a comb and pulled quite a bit out. This stiff is no joke! I could only see a few stems poking out before i started but by the time i was done i had pulled out about a shot glass worth.
