Best light for Mini M

What is the best light for the ADA Mini M?
Cheaper would be better, but not cheap cheap.

Ya, I am getting my soil and rocks in today. Probably won't be working on the tank till Friday.

You could do the 16 inch fugeray, but that might be on the low end of hc type of lighting. I'd do the 16 inch Ray 2. It's a great light for $58. Finnex is hard to beat for the price right now. Hang the light if it gets too be too much light.

You could also find the hampton bay desk lamp. I think it runs $27, but its not led.

Also, look at the Archea light:

Its new and it seems that nobody has put a par meter under it yet, but I hear it is in the high light range. I really like the color it puts out. The Fugeray is nice, but I light a mixture of 7000K and 10,000K best. The fugeray is pure 7000K, with moonlights that help but not much.

I'm running a buildmyled.com 12" fixture on my ADA 30-C. You're looking at around 70 PAR in the lowest part of my tank.

When mine was set up I used an Aquaray min-led 400 with 4 osram oslon 65k LEDs. A bit more on the expensive side though.

If you wanted to save money. You could always just get a Hampton bay fixture and buy a cfl or led bulb.

Plenty of choices. The above listed are great ideas. When in doubt, get the fixture that's made for the tank.

I use the ADA aquasky for my mini M. It's pricey but super bright. My HC grows well under this light as does every other plant and algae I've got in there! Especially the algae

Plus it looks super sexy on top of your tank.
