Ooh, that tank looks clean and bright

Is that real driftwood though? Maybe its just the lighting but something about it seems weird. You could also try and get some moss growing on it.

I would also just let the cardinal fill out more, and an easy red plant would be ludwigia sp. 'red' since it keeps its red regardless of lighting level.

No, it is unfortunately manufactured (bought at Petsmart). Every once in a while it gets covered in green algae but between my Bristlenose and my (somewhat) good balance of nutrients/lighting to plants I haven't really had any abundance of algae to make it look more natural. I am definatly not complaining though. The tank is almost 7 months old and it still looks pretty clean. I have tried to let the cardinals fill out but they grow kind of tall and thin due to the lack of strong lighting. They lose their busy appearance (and red leaves) after about 2 weeks of being in my tank.
