Plants shrimp like
Are there any plants that shrimp love? I have 6 ghost shrimp 2 of which are carrying eggs. As of now they have cabomba, ludwigia, a small sword, anacharis, pennywort, drift wood, one driftwood covered in with marimo moss, another driftwood covered in riccia. I wanted to re-do their tank and add some new plants in. I have a 50/50 6500K light. I do liquid ferts and liquid CO2 a few times a week, so very low tech. I'd like to do a bit of a carpet of pygmy chain sword...yes? Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks guys! |

The more surface area, the better.

Anywhere I have shrimp and Subwassertang together the shrimp are always in that stuff going to town! +Subwasertang is not a really fast grower so less maintenance.

Well since no one else said it I'll say any type of moss. LOL. Also my shrimp like my riccia since it floats.

Moss and needle leafy type of plants.
More surface area the better for them. |
