Fluval 206 dimensions?

Hi
New to this forum been lurking for quite a while...thank you all for the great info you provide here!

Could anyone tell me the approximate dimensions of the Fluval 206? I do not trust the dimensions I'm finding online as they appear to be package dimensions. I'm designing a stand for a 12g long and want to incorporate a shelf large enough to house a 206 (see image below). One last question, can the input and output nozzles of these filters be adjusted to a 90 degree angle?

Thank you!

Exactly where do you want the dimensions measured to? i.e. bottom to top of lid, or bottom to top of tubing connections?

I can measure it for you, just let me know what you're looking for.

Also, the connections aren't at right angles, you'd have to make some kind of modification if you needed that to happen.

Could you tell me the height from bottom to top of the hose connections? Also the width, I assume it's pretty close to square? Thanks le0p!

It's 15 3/4" to the connection and 7 1/4" at the widest point.

You have to consider the height of the tubing as it curves to the tank as well. I included a picture of mine to show how far it bends. (disregard the way my tubing is connected, I have my filter hooked up to a diy bio-filter)

Let me know if you need anything else!
