Lighting for a 72t tank.
My tank is 72" x 18.5" x25" deep I would like to keep things as simple as possible. Good lights that will efficiently provide enough light for heavy planting... I intend to use CO2,, diy at first then pressurised. very little filtration, just mostly water flow. trying to avoid having too many things hanging over the side of the tank.
I had considered hi-bays, but figured they'd be inefficient. even thought about old used tanning bed bulbs. that I could get cheap to free. thinking also of going fully covered to avoid/control evaporation. any suggestions as to lighting that doesn't break the bank but will seriously grow plants. Tanks Chad, I'll look into those.
I like how you've got them mounted. |
