Algae Grower

Can you identify this plant?
What is this? I never planted it, it sprouted out of the substrate randomly one day and has grown pretty well with basically NO help in my low tech 10g. It has sprouted 2 additional plants since then. It's the plant with stems between 1'' - 4'' and light green leaves roughly the size of a half dollar.
Also my GBR apparently cannot resist a photo-op Wondering if this will make a nice mid-ground plant for my new 36g. |

It looks like Cryptocoryne Pontederifoilia to me.

I think you're right. Would you do anything to treat that algae on it before moving it over? All I have done in the past is typically rub it off the leaves, and it keeps coming back but my 10g has poor lighting and really no care what so ever. The new tank has much better lighting and such, no algae in it thus far and don't want to introduce any if possible.
