Default Festivum cichlids not very plant friendly

I know that others have had good luck with Festivum cichlids in their planted tanks, but mine have bitten holes in all my Amazon swords, and completely mowed down my chain swords and Vals. They even ate an entire bunch of Anacharis! The Vals and chains were eaten to the ground!

Good thing I have another tank for them. Wow!

I do give them Nori every morning and they like that, but it does not keep them from grazing on my plants. I also give them bloodworms, pellets and flake food, so it's not like they are starving. They are voracious!
