oh well


5 1/2 gallon shrimp tank frozen solid like a brick. couldn't revive shrimp.

how did that happen?! was it a non heated outside tank? can i get that cold in a home?

Depending on your location...keeping a 5g tank outside in the middle of winter just seems like it would be obvious that it would freeze solid.

Default Thanks for taking the time to create a thread, but....

I'm really curious to see what this "frozen" tank looks like.

What species of shrimp did you keep in there?

I had a 20G tank outside that I was testing for leaks all summer, but I brought the inhabitants back indoors around October and the water was about 40 degrees F.
