Melted Jungle Vals
My new jungle vals melted within a few days. They are about 16in. long. Should I cut all the melted leaves off and make them approx 2in.? This will promote new leaf growth, right?

My corkscrew vals melted a bit after I did some direct excel dosing to fight bba, and I just left them alone. Anything that actually fell off the plant or just came off when I touched it was removed, but I let the rest of them go, and they grew back in nicely in no time.

Just leave them alone for a spell. They'll come back. Did mine in with Excel also for the same reason.

How long has it been since they melted? What's your set up like? I find them to be pretty hardy plants as long as they are getting decent light.

I melted mine a few months ago with excel on a BBBA fight, I am now cutting them back every week and they are starting to send offshoots

I agree. Mine took a week or two to recover, but came back nice and strong.
