I have incredibly hard water in my are (TDS 350+ and ph of 8+) would cherries/rilis breed in this? or would i have to tamper with the water conditions?

Cherries will breed in just about anything, but it would probably be a good idea to at least cut your tap water with RO to lower that TDS a little, I think.

TDS is fine. I'd be more alarmed by the extremely high ph than the tds. Should be fine though.

with that kind of PH you can go with cardinal shrimp
but seriously the cherries should be fine unless they came from really soft water |
