Anybody remember "Guppies to Groupers" TV show

Anybody remember this show. It ran on local public television stations in the early 70's. I know this is a long shot but does anyone have a copy of this program? I'd like to use it as part of my upcoming discussion on aquarium history.

It originated in Erie, PA on WQLN-TV. The host was Paul Spiece. He is now retired from General Electric and has donated his time at a Christian summer camp as a "Mr. Everything" and also knows alot about plants and trees. During lunches, he goes back and discusses his tapings of that show. He has mentioned that he thinks the rights were purchased from the original sponsor by the Mattel Toy Co. You may be able to contact WQLN to see if they may have any masters of the original shows.

I believe the station recorded over the masters of the programs and so they no longer exist, except for a few of them copied onto VCR by listeners. However it would be nice to think that the original sponsors have copies of the shows.

I remember Guppies to Groupers, it was on public tv here in Philly in the 70's. Great show and the host really took his time to go into detail about everything he talked about. Great show!

He has a column in Aquarium Fish Int. every month. Unless they're just rehashing his old FAMA columns. He mentions the show every couple of month in his articles.

Found this in a search for Paul Speice and a his old show. Would also like to have a copy of the shows. Also FIY I rember when the shows were on when I was a kid. I also dont think VCR's were out at that time.

Magazine is out of print. They send me Dog Fancy in place of it

Yeah I didn't want that one so I called them and changed over to Urban Farming. Doubt I'll renew it though. They, like OG, keep letting their liberal political views into to many of the articles.
