Angelfish Habits
Question:
Do Angelfish usually eat vegetable matter? Reason being, I was just watching one of my angelfish when it caught an oncoming piece of vallis in its mouth. It chewed it and hasn't spat it out so I'm taking it it's eaten it? Do they eat it when they're hungry? I just thought it was weird. Now another one is tearing up my java moss as we speak

how often do you feed them? It might be that you're not feeding them enough and they are grazing to substitute

let them eat, it is ok, they don't do too much damage on the plants anyway.

It's fine. Angel fish are cichlids, and cichlids like to eat most anything, and a vege source per say is good for their diet. You can experiment with cucumber, zucchini, ice berg lettuce. Organic grown, seedless cucumber a plus less of a mess. Attach them to a suction cup clip
