1. What is Potassium Sulfate (K2SO4) for? and is it necessary to be included in the dosing regime?

GH Booster... :-) I think Tom Barr sells it. Or you can use Seachem Equilibrium. 3. Are Trace ferts aka Plantex? Yes. Plantex CSM+B is one June of trace mix. |

some suggest that if you have plenty of livestock you don't need to dose Nitrate or Phosphate, but you do need to dose Potassium and trace

GH booster is comprised of CaSO4, K2SO4, and MgSO4 in a 3:3:1 ratio, respectively.
In a highly lit, heavily planted aquarium, there will not be enough nitrates and phosphates to meet the demands of plants.
