I have moved some plants around to free more space for swimming room and my fish seem a ton more confident and healthy. So I think the tank is looking a lot better now and has more of that balance between swimming space and jungle area. I also tried to frame my driftwood with the plants as one person mentioned. Tell me what you guys think and how you would improve it.

Hey guys, felt it was time to update after I did a relatively large re scape to open up the front of my tank and free up some swimming space for my fish!
Now that I have the finnex ray 2, I added more dwarf sag and I really hope it goes crazy just like the other plants. The new light has made a huge difference and even though its still low tech the growth has been incredible with this light. If you are interested in a video update, please check out my youtube channel! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GH4S...ature=youtu.be Tell me what you guys think of the tank now! Thanks |

That's a remarkably good effort for a first planted tank, I love the cave effect

Jungle!!! I love overgrown tanks like yours. They always seem so natural. Great job for any number of attempts at a planted tank.
